The Basics

Registration for the Summer Reading Program begins June 1, 2020.  Remember, all reading times or activities need to be turned in through Beanstack by 5 p.m. Friday, July 24, to be eligible for prizes. Prizes must also be picked up no later than Friday, July 24, 2020.

Children ages 0-5:  1000 Books Before Kindergarten

This program is for children from birth until he or she enters Kindergarten. Children will log the number of books they read either through Beanstack or on a paper tracking sheet, and will be eligible to win prizes for every 100 books read.  Summer participants will receive a rubber ducky for logging reading over the summer.  If you would like to register your child, you may come in and sign up or register through Beanstack

Children ages 5-18: Imagine Your Story Summer Reading Program

Children will read for 10 Hours to complete the challenge and be eligible for prizes. 

                              Register through Beanstack.  Download the Beanstack tracker app from the app store or google play store on your phone and begin logging your minutes. 

Paper tracking sheets are also available.

The Children’s Department is located on the lower level of the Bradford Memorial Library. We offer books and media geared toward children from birth to age 12.
