Join us for our Spring Programs!  Our Spring session will run January 21-April 24.


Join us for Story Time!  Children enjoy stories, music, and movement while building early literacy and social skills.

 Toddler Time:  Thursdays at 10:00 am

This is for Children 18-35 months and a caregiver.


Preschool Story Time:  Fridays at 10:00 am

This is for Children 3-5 years old.


We invite you to participate in a  free program that we are offering.  This program will encourage you to read 1000 books to your child before they start Kindergarten! This program is for children from birth until he or she enters Kindergarten.  Come in and Register your child, today!

Builder’s Club: Children have fun, learn, and develop social skills by building with lego and other types of building sets.

Tuesdays 3:30-5:00 (Come and go as you wish)

Children Kindergarten through 5th grade   (No Registration is necessary)


Full STEAM ahead: Kids in the Kitchen: Children have fun learning kitchen basics, building a great snack, and talking about nutrition with Barb Roths and McKenzie Smithson from the Butler Co. extension.

Wednesdays:  Feb. 12, March 11, and April 15 from  4:00-5:00 pm

Full STEAM ahead: Inspire:  This program’s focus is on Stories and how they relate to things like Hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. (*No reservation is required and all supplies are provided)

Full STEAM ahead: CREATE: Crafting is so much fun and it helps children in so many ways.  It helps communicate feelings and children learn to follow instructions. It helps improve motor skills and is a way to spend quality time together.  Working together on a craft helps develop teamwork and social skills.  It also encourages children to try something new. This program’s focus is on the process of art and how it relates to STEAM concepts

The Children’s Department is located on the lower level of the Bradford Memorial Library. We offer books and media geared toward children from birth to age 12.
